Recently, I was grateful that I got invited to the Grand Opening of The Champignons Cake Shop – a new endeavor by Chef Gary Chang and Pastry Chef Kingsley Kwoh who shares the passion of merging art with taste. Chef Gary Chang is also the owner of Champignons @ Oasis Square with more than 15 years’ experience in food industry; while Pastry Chef Kingsley Kwoh is a young and talented guy with more than 10 years’ of experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Modern French Patisseries.

Located at the heard of Cheras, The Champignons Cake Shop brings you the fine artistry of French Patisserie to messes by making it affordable and easily available.


Elderflower [RM18] – elderflower mousse, guava compote, strawberry & pink guava jelly with vanilla genoise and biscuit

Mango & Coconut Choux Puff [RM14] – mango whipping cream, mango jelly, coconut dacquoise, coconut cream, and almond grumble

Cherry [RM16] – dark chocolate mousse, Chantilly cream, cheery compote, chocolate sponge, crunchy base and biscuit

Strawberry Charlotte [RM16] – strawberry sponge, strawberry jelly, Chantilly cream, and fresh strawberry
