Second Sunday Cafe @ Damansara Jaya, PJ

It was a lovely sunny Sunday morning that I decided to go for brunch with my friend at a less hyped area of Damansara Jaya. I know this might be a little too late for me to visit this café, but still, I would like to give it a shot.

The interior and exterior design – simple and comfortable.

We ordered……..

Flat White [RM10] 

Number Five [RM18] – melted mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken breast, sautéed mushrooms, pineapple and homemade nutty pesto sauce folded in crispy tortilla served with fries and side salad. Overall the taste was good, but it might be good if there’s more cheese and sautéed mushroom added in it.

Toast #1 [RM21] – scramble egg + cheddar, footlong chicken sausage, sautéed mushroom, and roasted cherry tomato. I have to admit, this concept was good and the toast taste great too. However, I would expect something more (bacon, ham, or hasbrown) for this price. 

Overall Rating: 6.8/10. Honestly speaking, I do like this Second Sunday ambiance – simple, comfortable, and not crowded. Though food wide, there’s still gaps to close, but I’m looking forward for their new ideas and menu.
