Omaya 春川炒鸡 @ SS15, Subang Jaya
Omaya春川炒鸡 was
recently open in Subang Jaya and was getting famous besides Shinmapo(Subang
Courtyard). They’re famous for their sinful cheesy Korean Cuisine in town.
There’s usually a long waited list and be prepared to wait for at least an hour
or two, especially during peak dining hours. As usual, I’m lucky enough to have
the chance to sample their menu together with my sis.
To starts things off, we
had…..
Rainbow
Slush [RM11.90] – something
cooling and refreshing to have during hot afternoon.
**P.S.- post a picture of your dining experience
in Omaya on Facebook, show it to the floor staff and you will get this drink
for FREE!!! YES, IT’S FREE!!!!!
Cotton
Candy Fizzy Drink [RM9.90] –
a glass of orange fizz plopped with a cloud of cotton candy.
1200mm
Korean Giant BBQ Skewer [RM138] –
the grilled pork, chicken squid, and prawns were hung high and detached only
when it was ready to grill. What’s surrounding the grill? – a delicious circle
of soft and fluffy egg. Perhaps, some salt may be needed to enhance the overall
flavor?
Giant
Pork Rib Cheesy Topokki Stew [RM68]
– five enormous sticky glazed rib sitting in a pool of melted cheese, filled
with kimchi, topokki, fish cakes and egg.
Honey
Mustard Boneless Chicken Cubes [RM25]
– the tender chicken cubes came in a hotplate of sizzling cheese. It is
best eaten together with the hot melted cheese.
Overall Rating: Basically, there’s cheese in everything at Omaya. For me, there's room for improvement in terms of food and services. However, I have to admit the concept was
pretty good for me (because I’m a cheese lover) and don’t forget to try out
their Kimchi!!!
