The Brew House @TTDI, KL

It’s been some time since I last update my blog – due to my work!!! I think is time for me to catch up again. Recently, I’ve had the chance to catch up with all my friends at The Brew House TTDI after so long. Seriously, need to give a big thank you to my best friend – Racheal for organizing such a great makan and minum session!!!!!

A Place For Affordable Food And Beer
Located around the lively neighborhood of TTDI, The Brew House offers local but as well as western cuisine, which wouldn’t disappoint you!!! Furthermore, the price is affordable and is PORKY-LICIOUS too!!!

Let’s kick off our meal with…….

Salted Egg Fish Skin with Pork Floss [RM13.80] – crispy deep fried fish skin blended with salted egg yolk together with pork floss on top can literally makes you addicted.

Prawn Paste Chicken Wings [RM15.80] – plump and bursting with umamilicious juices on the inside of this deep fried chicken wings makes you hard to imagine how fried chicken wings can be any better!!!! Yummy!!!!

Moo Ping [RM14.80] – Pork Neck Skewer served with Thai dipping sauce – juicy and less fat as compared to normal satay!!!!

Lala Noodles Soup [RM16.80] – Lala served with vermicelli. The broth is flavorful and you can even smell the fragrance of Chinese wine as you take the first sip. If you’re a fan of Lala Noodle Soup, this is a MUST TRY dish whenever you visit their outlet.

Fried Chee Cheong Fun [RM15.80] – some creative dish which is thinking out of the box. It is almost taste same like Char Kuey Teow but softer and silkier version of Char Kuey Teow. Awesome!!!!

Mutton Varuval Curry [RM16.80] – honestly speaking, when comes to mutton, I usually ask my friends or whoever order that dish to try out 1st before me. The reason because I dislike the “gamey” taste. However, this mutton curry really tastes good!!!! The mutton was so tender and the curry was so flavorful!!!!!

Nyonya Pork Ribs Curry [RM14.80] – this dish will definitely stimulate your appetite with its tangy and savory taste. The amount of spic added in just right and best to eat with a bowl of fragrance white rice!!!!

Bacon Wrapped Pork Meat Ball Braised In Connor’s Stout Sauce [RM16.80] – juicy meatballs wrapped with flavorful bacon sitting in a pool of stout sauce. The stout sauce blends so well with the meatballs – yummy!!!

Braised Pork Belly [RM15.80] – One of my favorite dish of all. The braised pork belly is soft but not overly soft and somehow, it reminds me of my favorite food when I was young. Highly recommended!!!!

Brew House Char Siew Rice Bowl [RM19.80] – a bowl of white fragrance rice topped with Char Siew, pickle lettuce, onset egg, ginger, seaweed and sesame. It might seem and sound odd, but you gonna give it a try!! I’m pretty sure you aren’t gonna regret!!!

Vongole Chili Clam Pasta [RM14.80] – simple yet delicious dish – al dente pasta served with clams, chili, white wine and dil. Honestly speaking, I can’t believe this generous portion of pasta cost me only RM14.80. Definitely a must order for me next time!!

Smoked Duck & Peach Pizza [RM18.80] – soft and fresh flatbread pizza topped with smoked duck, smoked bacon, sliced peach, mushroom, and spring onion. Nice!!!

Brew House Signature Pork Steak 250G [RM19.80] – one of their signature dish. The perfectly grilled pork steak served with grilled peach, mash potatoes, greens and creamy peppercorn sauce at the side. It might seem rather dry to me but upon biting into the meat, it was surprisingly quite juicy and tender.

Pork Platter [RM25.80] – a mix of char grilled pork, sticky ribs, roast pork and luncheon meat served on a wooden platter. Perfect for sharing and the best thing is you can try all types of PORK in one plate!!!

Weekend Roast – Flaming Chicken “Hot Chicken” [RM50++] – Whole marinated chicken flamed with a shot of vodka to enhance the overall taste of the dish. This dish is a big one and good to share among 3-4 pax. This chicken was served together with roasted vegetables on the side as well.
