Hong Kong Eggettes (Gai Dan Zai) is a popular Hong Kong’s street snack and I believe many of you have tasted before. Of course, although these eggette here might taste different from Hong Kong (customized to local taste), but eggette still become one of the most popular snack in town.

Founded in Malacca in year 2011 by Q Zai Hong Kong Eggette, this crispy yummy ball-shaped Hong Kong snack aimed to satisfy your cravenness in the heart of the busiest mall in Kuala Lumpur. Most of you wouldn’t know that Q Zai Hong Kong Eggette using flour which twice process in their central kitchen, and reprocessed again for the third time in the outlet itself. After the reprocessed, 8 eggs and high quality coconut oil will be added into the flour. There’s absolute no Baking Soda or any kind of cooking oil added in the process of making eggette. The reason behind – Q Zai wants to make sure their eggette is safe and healthy to be consume by their customers.

One thing so special about Q Zai is that you can pick your own ingredients (eg. Sausage, chocolate chips, cheese and etc….) to add in your eggette. Price starts from [RM4.80] onwards.

Eggette Bites with Nuttella [RM8] – their NEW + HIGHLIGHT. I bet you can’t get Nuttella Eggette like this from other places. You’ll never regret to try this!!!!

Chocolate Chip Eggette – you can taste the chocolate chips in every single eggette.

Cheese + Chicken Sausage Eggette – this savory eggette is a perfect choice for savory eggette lovers to satify their savory taste bud. *P.S – great snack during movie time*

Peanut Eggette – unlike ordinary eggette, most of them uses peanut jam. However, Q Zai use fresh peanut in their eggette (better texture and fresh). Something different!!!!

Green Tea Eggette – if you’re a match lover, give it a shot!!! They use good quality green tea powder and only will prepare upon order!!!

Their Best Seller? – Chocolate Chip and Cheese + Sausage. Most Popular? – Original Flavor (based on my observation during the visit, 6 out of 10 customers order their Original Flavor)

Overall Opinion: I personally quite like Q Zai Hong Kong Eggette – crispy on the outside and soft from the inside. Honestly speaking, if you add on extra ingredients into your eggette, you can taste your add on ingredients in every single eggette – they will never turn you down on this!!!! So far, this is one of the best eggette I’ve ever tried. Thank you Q Zai Hong Kong Eggette for having me!!
